D2.1 – Protocol on Optimization of NTms for Temperature Sensing (ΔT ≥ 5 °C)

This protocol describes the optimization and validation of Ag2S-based NTms for non-contact temperature sensing under hyperthermia relevant conditions. The objective of D2.1 is to establish a robust and reproducible framework enabling reliable temperature readout with ΔT ≥ 5 ℃ in the biologically relevant range of 25-60 ℃. Due to previously identified instrumental limitations, magnetic hyperthermia and IO-AS hybrid systems were not pursued. Instead, the work focused on optimizing Ag2S-11MUA and Ag2S-GSH NTms for optical nanothermometry based on photoluminescence parameters.
