A dataset of distribution and diversity of ticks in China

This a comprehensive dataset of known tick species and their distributions in China, derived from peer-reviewed literature published between 1960 and 2017. The dataset contains 5731 records of geo-referenced occurrences for 123 tick species distributed over 1141 locations distinguished at four levels of scale i.e., provincial, prefectural, county, and township and finer.

本数据集为中国已知蜱（tick）物种及其分布的综合数据集，数据源自1960年至2017年间发表的同行评议学术文献。数据集涵盖123种蜱虫的5731条地理参考发生记录，分布于1141个采样点，采样点按四级尺度进行分级，分别为省级、地级、县级、乡级及更细尺度。
