We aim to use slow temperature scanning XPCS to study the sub-Tg relaxations, aging effects, and the (de-)vitrification behavior of two archetypical metallic glass formers. A novel fitting approach recently developed by our groups will help to separate different decorrelation mechanisms, further allowing to identify and separate different underlying types of atomic motions. To do so, the fast acquisition time and excellent signal-to-noise ratio available at the fourth generation synchrotron ESRF are substantially needed.
