Insights into the mobility of nanoparticle ligands during the processing of semiconducting polymer : nanoparticle blends

This proposal aims to investigate the thermal processing effects on lanthanide nanoparticle (LnNP)-organic semiconducting polymer (OSC) blends used in LED devices. By employing small-angle neutron scattering (SANS), we will study ligand detachment from LnNP surfaces during annealing. The insights gained will inform new annealing protocols and improve the optoelectronic properties of these hybrid materials for next-generation communications technology.
