资源简介:

This paper is the Position Paper for the Emergence series (Papers I–VIII, XI–XX). It provides a high-level overview of the canvas model, answers what the model derives, allows, predicts, and solves, and compares it with other frameworks: general relativity, quantum mechanics, quantum field theory, string theory, loop quantum gravity, and causal sets. The canvas model is a pre-geometric framework in which spacetime, quantum fields, and gravity emerge from wave intersections on a primordial canvas. From first principles, it derives Newtonian gravity, the speed of light, time dilation, and the equivalence principle. It allows the coexistence of quantum mechanics, general relativity, quantum field theory, and the Standard Model within a single discrete, deterministic, background-independent framework — a combination no other framework achieves. It makes unique, testable predictions: a cutoff in the CMB power spectrum, energy-dependent speed of light, and modified gravitational wave dispersion. It resolves the black hole singularity and information paradox. This position paper is not a technical derivation. It is an overview and a comparison. Technical details are presented in the companion Emergence papers. Open problems are acknowledged honestly. This paper is intended for physicists, philosophers of physics, and anyone interested in foundational approaches to unification. It clarifies what the canvas model actually does and how it stands relative to other frameworks. Keywords: canvas model, emergence, unified framework, quantum gravity, pre-geometric, position paper, comparison of frameworks, testable predictions, black hole information paradox
