Derived dataset based on GBIF occurrence data for Diaphus dumerilii in the North Atlantic

This derived dataset includes occurrence records for the deep-sea pelagic species Diaphus dumerilii obtained via GBIF. Records were filtered for quality and used to model species distribution in the Gulf of Mexico using ecological niche modeling techniques. This dataset supports a manuscript in preparation that investigates current and future habitat suitability under different RCP scenarios.
