Extraction, purification and spectral characterization of colorants from bacterial chromophore as next generation safe additives for industrial application

This research project focuses on isolating and analyzing natural color-producing compounds (chromophores) from bacteria as a potential alternative to synthetic dyes in industrial applications. The study aims to develop sustainable and safe food colorants by extracting these bacterial pigments, purifying them, and thoroughly characterizing their chemical properties.
