RNA sequencing reveal impact of radiation on cardiac tissues

To study radiation-induced cardiac damage in mice, two groups of control and radiation mice were created, and cardiac tissues were obtained for bulk RNA sequencing. Overall design: To explore the impact of radition on heart, mice were received 30 Gy 60Co ?-rays for irradiation. Subsequently, heart tissues were taken at 1 day and 6 weeks after irradiation for transcriptome sequencing. We performed bulk RNA sequencing to establish a comprehensive transcriptome profile of cardiac tissues under radiation.
