Analysis of Middle School Students' Intra-Mathematical Connection Skills in Ratio and Proportion Tasks

This dataset supports the findings of the study titled "Analysis of Middle School Students' Intra-Mathematical Connection Skills in Ratio and Proportion Tasks". The data include student responses to ratio and proportion tasks and interview transcripts. The participants were six seventh-grade students selected via purposive sampling. The materials are anonymized and primarily in Turkish. A sample of the analysis process is presented in English. All data were collected with informed consent from participants and their guardians and were analyzed using descriptive analysis methods. The dataset illustrates students’ use of intra-mathematical connections in forms such as meaning, implication, different representations, instructional, feature, part-whole, and procedural connections.
