Post-wildfire amphibian and reptile monitoring was conducted at Quail Ridge reserve. A wildfire burned through 180 acres on the west side of the reserve peninsula in September 2005. Starting that winter, amphibian and reptile populations were monitored at 5 burned sites and 5 unburned sites by collecting monthly presence/absence data using coverboard and pitfall trap arrays. Monthly data collection will continue for the next several years.
