The reference slope (RS) method has been proposed to resolve and eliminate possible numerical oscillation caused by the non-Lipschitz continuous source term in the Saint-Venant equations. The primary descriptions of the RS methods are found in Yu et. al. (2019). This technical report provides secondary details and discussions on the performance of SPRNT-RS method under different geometric condition and various methods of generating reference slope.
