Dangermond Preserve Terrestrial Lidar Scans: May and July 2025

This dataset contains the pre- and post-prescribed fire terrestrial lidar scans (TLS) at Dangermond Preserve (Little Cojo Beach). The dataset provided is the full project directory archive (.zip). The directory is organized into specific sub-folders to support different stages of the research workflow: ALS Directory: Aerial LiDAR data providing the topographic and landscape-level baseline. Original TLS Directory: Raw, high-resolution terrestrial scans (.ptx) in their original sensor coordinate system. Transformations Directory: Georeferencing parameters and matrices used to align terrestrial scans to the global ALS coordinate system. Aligned TLS Directory: Processed terrestrial point clouds (.laz) that have been spatially corrected and are ready for integrated analysis. Merged & Subsampled Products: Site-wide point clouds, including a performance-optimized 1mm subsampled version for high-efficiency modeling.
