This dataset contains statistics on the educational attainment of the population across all districts and counties of Beijing, which is the provincial-level demonstration area of the Beijing-Tianjin Sandstorm Source Control Project. The included indicators are administrative districts, population aged 6 and above, population aged 6 and above with no formal schooling, population aged 6 and above who completed literacy classes, population aged 6 and above with primary school education, junior high school education, senior high school education, and college or higher education, among others.
As the national political, cultural and economic center of China, this dataset compiles comprehensive socioeconomic statistical data for Beijing's districts and counties in 2002, covering financial and fiscal affairs, industrial and agricultural production, science, education and public health, infrastructure development, residents' living standards, basic urban and rural conditions, population structure, employee employment, tourism economy and multiple other fields. This dataset comprehensively reflects the socioeconomic development of Beijing.
