We revealed the epigenetic mechanism under salinity stress by changes in histone modifications. Different types of histone modifications have different changes. The changes of two histone modifications(H3K4me3 and H3K27me3) play an important role in hulless barley responsing to salinity stress. This is the first time to explain the salinity resistance mechanism of the hulless barley from the histone modification, which providing new ideas for studying plant salinity resistance.
