Fat distributed widely throughout the body and has different biochemical profiles depending on its location. Intramuscular fat (IMF) content could attributes, at least in part, to the gustatorysensory qualities and consumer acceptability of pork. It is a wonderful vision s thatto improve meat quality by increasing IMF level while decreasing subcutaneous fat through biotechnology. However, until now, the it is unclear that differences between intramuscular adipocytes and subcutaneous adipocytes, as well as the regulation mechanisms of their differentiation still remain unclear.
