Dioscorea Mitochondrial and Nuclear Gene Sequences

This dataset contains mitochondrial and Trinity-assembled nuclear gene sequences from multiple Dioscorea species, including D. rotundata, D. alata, D. japonica, D. polystachya, and D. esculenta.The mitochondrial component includes annotated genes and protein sequences. The nuclear component comprises coding sequences (CDS) and translated peptides (PEP) assembled de novo from RNA-seq data using Trinity, rather than extracted from the reference genome. These data were used for comparative genomic and evolutionary analyses of Dioscorea species.
