Permanent Land Protection Restrictions

This feature class represents the permanently protected lands that are deed-restricted by the NJPC and other entities (e.g., federal, state, municipalities, non-governmental organizations) and tracked in the Pinelands Commission Information System (PCIS) and the Pinelands Commision's Permanent Land Protection (PLP)database. Both Commission Programs and Non-Commission Programs are recorded in the feature class. This layer identifies parcels that are subject to a permanent deed restriction and does not represent the actual boundaries of same. This layer provides a generalized depiction of the areas that are subject to the deed restriction. It is provided for informational purposes only and is not intended to and should not be relied upon for the precise boundaries of the area subject to the deed restriction.
