Raw and processed negative electrospray ionization coupled to Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (ESI-FTICR-MS) data for mesocosm experiment samples collected from bulk DOM tank, control tank marine snow, and WAF tank marine snow.

Mesocosm experiments were performed as part of the ADDOMEx GOMRI funded program with seawater collected from the Northern Gulf of Mexico (NGOM) and “seeded” with microbial populations collected from coastal Texas (in Galveston Bay). Of the treatments, negative electrospray ionization mass spectrometry coupled to Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (ESI-FTICR-MS) spectra were collected for (A) pyridine extract of marine snow collected from control mesocosm tank (B) pyridine extract of marine snow collected from WAF mesocosm tank and (C) bulk DOM (dissolved organic matter) from control mesocosm tank. The data contained in this dataset represents the raw m/z and intensity data obtained directly from the instrument and the processed Excel files used for the analysis. This data was used to create the figures in the original manuscript.
