The research dataset comprises both raw and processed data files designed to facilitate and expedite the review process while ensuring ease of data reuse, interpretation, and replication. The attached files are organized in the optimal sequence for systematic evaluation: COI Robustness Test – Contains several files to test the strength and validity of the COI indicator.Competition (CMP) Dataset – Contains the data and variables used to compute the Lerner Index, a key indicator of competition within the study. FULL Completed Dataset – Comprises the selected panel dataset encompassing all study variables, along with associated metadata (refer to it, please, for further details). Data Workfiles – Comprise panel data, study variables, and the econometric models employed in the analysis using EViews software. The following files are included:Social Mission_Workfile – Includes panel data for the Full data used in the analysis (Models 1-3). Social Mission_Subsample_Workfile – Contains panel data for the subsample used to perform robustness checks (Models 1-3).Financial Sustainability_Workfile – Includes panel data for the Full data used in the analysis (Models 4-7). Financial Sustainability_Subsample_Workfile – Contains panel data for the subsample used to perform robustness checks (Models 4-7).Translog_Cost_CMP_EViews_Workfile – Provides the estimation results for the translog cost function, obtained through Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) regression, including the estimated parameters (β₁, β₂, μ, δ). Panel Unit Root Tests (OUTPUTS) – Presents the results of stationarity tests, including the Levin-Lin-Chu Test, the Im, Pesaran, and Shin (IPS) Test, the ADF-Fisher Chi-square Test, and the Phillips-Perron Fisher Test. Additionally, this file outlines the transformations applied to non-stationary variables to ensure stationarity before incorporating them into regression models. MODEL(1) (OUTPUTS) – Contains EViews-generated outputs documenting the complete analytical process for the first model, which examines the impact of pricing on comprehensive outreach in microfinance institutions (MFIs), as detailed in the Table of Contents. MODEL(2) (OUTPUTS) –Includes the EViews outputs for the second model, which investigates the impact of pricing on the percentage of female borrowers in MFIs, as specified in the Table of Contents. MODEL(3) (OUTPUTS) – Provides EViews outputs for the third model, analyzing the influence of social mission fulfillment on pricing in MFIs, as outlined in the Table of Contents.MODEL(4) (OUTPUTS) – Contains EViews-generated outputs documenting the complete analytical process for the forth model, which examines the impact of pricing on Return On Assets (ROA) in microfinance institutions (MFIs), as detailed in the Table of Contents. MODEL(5) (OUTPUTS) – Includes the EViews outputs for the fifth model, which investigates the impact of pricing on Portfolio At Risk (PAR), 90 days (%) in MFIs, as specified in the Table of Contents. MODEL(6) (OUTPUTS) – Provides EViews outputs for the sixth model, analyzing the influence of pricing on Operational Self Sufficiency (OSS) (%) in MFIs, as outlined in the Table of Contents. MODEL(7) (OUTPUTS) – Contains EViews-generated outputs documenting the complete analytical process for the seventh model, which examines the impact of financial sustainability (ROA, PAR90, and OSS) on pricing in microfinance institutions (MFIs), as detailed in the Table of Contents.This structured compilation of datasets and analytical outputs ensures transparency, reproducibility, and methodological rigor in the research process.
