This study aimed to (1) comprehensively characterize health-related quality-of-life (QOL) in individuals 6-24 months following surgical resection of left-hemisphere tumors and (2) examine the relationships between QOL and neuroanatomical characteristics of the lesion in the same cohort. Specifically, QOL measures were selected to capture communication, mood (depression, anxiety, and stress), and living with brain tumors. The lesions were evaluated based on the primary surgical resection, the resection plus brain damage and residual tumor/reoccurrence, and residual characteristics only. The relationships between QOL and the lesions were quantified using voxel-wise LSM and white-matter-tract disconnection severity analyses.
