The present invention relates to a genetically modified plant or plant cell derived from a wild-type plant or plant cell， said wild-type plant or plant cell producing at least one serine protease comprising the motif SX 1RGPX2LKPDX3X4X5PGX6SGTSMX7X8PHX9PX10WSPX11AX12X13SAX14MTT (SEQ ID No. 1)， wherein X1 is S， G or A， X2 is a peptide consisting of 7 to 12 amino acid residues， X3 is I or L， X4 is T， I， L or M， X5 is A or G， X6 is a peptide consisting of 24 to 28 amino acid residues， X7 is S or A， X8 is C or A， X9 is a peptide consisting of 12 amino acid residues， X10 is T， E， D， K or H， X11 is S or A， X12 is V or I， X13 is K or R and X14 is I， L or M， wherein the proteolytic activity of the at least one serine protease in the genetically modified plant or plant cell is reduced compared to its activity in the wild-type plant or plant cell.
