资源简介:
Amadeus, who as Lord of Hauterives in the Dauphiné had family connections with the Counts of Albon, the Counts of Maurienne-Savoy and even the Hohenstaufen, entered the monastery of Bonnevaux around 1119. There he was involved in founding the Mazan, Montpeyroux, Tamié and Léoncel branches. Although A. was not a superior, due to his aristocratic origins he acted as an intermediary between the Cistercians and the nobility. A. died in Bonnevaux and was buried in the cemetery. Soon after his death, A. was worshiped as Beatus in Bonnevaux.
