Do soils recover after invasive plant removal? A quantitative synthesis of field evidence

This dataset contains the extracted evidence base used in a quantitative synthesis of field studies (2006–2026) assessing soil recovery following invasive/non-native plant control or removal. The Excel workbook includes case-level extracted measurements for invaded (or pre-removal) baselines and managed/post-removal conditions, harmonised outcome labels, and contextual metadata (e.g., biome, restoration-action category, time since removal, and sampling depth). A README file describes workbook structure, column definitions, and units.
