Microbial diversity, quantity, and activity in shallow permafrost across the Inuvialuit Settlement Region, Northwest Territories, Canada - Supplemental data

This dataset contains vegetation survey data (percent cover) collected during the summer 2025 at sites across the Inuvialuit Settlement Region as part of the MSc thesis research by Meghan Craughwell, titled "Microbial Diversity, Quantity, and Activity in Shallow Permafrost across the Inuvialuit Settlement Region, Northwest Territories, Canada". At each site, a 1 metre x 1 metre quadrat was established, and all plants within the quadrat were identified with their percent cover recorded. Three quadrats were surveyed per location, and the coordinates of each quadrat were documented. Additionally, ten frost probe measurements were taken within each quadrat and averages to estimate active layer depth.
