By combining subwavelength metallic resonators, yttrium iron garnet (YIG) rods, and permanent magnets with carefully engineered symmetry, we achieve complete conversion of YIG's gyromagnetic response into a gyroelectric one, suppressing all gyromagnetic and bianisotropic contributions. Under normal incidence, identical cross-polarized transmission and reflection—confirmed experimentally and numerically from 10.4–11.1 GHz—serve as the definitive signature of pure gyroelectric behavior. Retrieved polarizabilities and near-field analyses verify a resonant, isotropic response free of residual gyromagnetic effects.
