Gene expression analysis in fly ovaries growing from somatic tkv-knockdown gonads driven by c587-GAL4

Purpose: The goal of this study is to analyze genes affected by Tkv knockdown in the developing ovarian soma using RNA-seq. Ovarian mRNA prolife of one-day-old control flies and flies carring tkv-knockdown ovarian somatic cells duirng development by deep sequence, in duplicate, using Illumina NextSeq 500. The sequence reads that passed quality filters were analyzed at the transcript isoform level using TopHat followed by Cufflinks.
