16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing of feces of yaks with diarrhea

Diarrhea is a common issue that frequently affects yaks (Bos grunniens), particularly in response to pasture alteration, and this can have a significant impact on their growth performance. In order to explore the variations in gut microbiota homeostasis among yaks suffering from diarrhea, analysis of fecal microbiota diversity and composition was carried out using 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing.
