This data set comprises the GC-MS raw data for analysis of the metabolism of HCT116 wild type cells in Glucose- and Galactose-containining medium as well as the SURF1 KO-mutant. Analysis was done using isotopically labeled tracers as described in Spier et al. (2021). "Mitochondrial respiration restricts Listeria monocytogenes infection by slowing down host cell receptor recycling"The data here represent three different experiments refering to Figs. 2A-C in the manuscript. Regarding the nomenclature of the individual files, Lm refers to Listeria monocytogenes. Subsequently the date of the experiment is mentioned followed by the labeled substrate that was added during cultivation: 13CGlc refers to [U-13C6]glucose, 13CGal refers to [U-13C6]galactose, 13C5Glu refers to [U-13C5]glutamine. Ui means uninfected and the subsequent number indicates biological replicate 1 or 2. The final abbreviation refers to the metabolites under analysis in the respective expirement: AS meaning protein-bound amino acids and PM meaning polar metabolites extracted from the cytosol.
