VPRS 12995 Judges' notebooks (DESTROYED 2014)

This series comprises notes made by Judges, Judges' Associates and Tipstaffs during or pertaining to County Court proceedings. Any party to an action or matter could ask the judge to make a note on aspects of the trial or hearing (County Court Act, s 75). Plaintiffs or appellants wishing to appeal to the Supreme Court could request a copy of the County Court judge's notes (County Court Act, ss 74 and 75).The records in PROV custody comprise notebooks removed from the County Court's records store at the time of the Court's move from its William Street premises in 2002.
