Data are presented as the mean ± SEM for n = 18; *P < 0.05 compared with the SIT trial, **P < 0.01 compared with the SIT trial, †P < 0.05 compared with the 1.5-min trial, and ††P < 0.01 compared with the 1.5-min trial. SIT = prolonged sitting; 3-min = 3-min of light-intensity walking every 30 min; 1.5-min = 1.5-min of moderate-intensity walking every 30 min; NEFA = non-esterified fatty acids; iAUC = incremental area under the curve.
