This dataset provides annual single-scene fractional coverage data of non-photosynthetic vegetation in grasslands across the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, covering each year from 2000 to 2020. The spatial distribution dataset of grassland non-photosynthetic vegetation fractional coverage (fNPV) on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau was estimated using a dimidiate pixel model for non-photosynthetic vegetation constructed with the Normalized Difference Tillage Index (NDTI), based on the MODIS 500m-resolution surface reflectance product MOD09A1. The data is stored in TIF format, with the projection coordinate system being Albers Conical Equal Area, and it can provide a reliable basis for dynamic monitoring of non-photosynthetic vegetation on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
