Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation at Upton's Gardens, Whitminster, Gloucestershire, January 2024

This collection comprises image, spreadsheet and GIS data from an archaeological evaluation of land at Upton's Gardens, Whitminster, Gloucestershire. Cotswold Archaeology carried out the work in January 2024. A total of five trenches were excavated. Evidence of medieval or post-medieval agricultural activity was identified in trenches excavated in the central part of the site. Two undated ditches were identified in a trench excavated in the south-western part of the site. Two large pits, one of which contained modern artefactual material, and a modern concrete-lined posthole, were identified in trenches excavated in the south-western and northeastern parts of the site respectively.
