Air-Sea CO2 Flux Dataset for the Indian Ocean Region

INCOIS_CO2_Flux is a gridded monthly air–sea CO2 flux dataset for the Indian Ocean Basin Region spanning 1993–2019. The dataset is derived from a machine-learning-based reconstruction of surface ocean pCO2 combined with atmospheric CO2 observations and wind datasets. Air–sea CO2 fluxes are estimated using three independent wind products (CCMP, ERA5, and JRA55) to quantify uncertainties associated with wind forcing. The dataset is provided at a spatial resolution of 1/12°.
