In this study, the multi-dimensional potential energy surface of 180Hg is calculated using Skyrme-density functional theory (DFT), as presented in Figs. 1-2. The fission properties derived from DFT are further demonstrated in Figs. 3-4.Notably, the density profiles are provided in Fig. 5, along with numerical results, highlighting the significance of the hexadecapole moment.The total kinetic energy distribution of fission products from 180Hg is shown in Fig. 6.The calculated mass distribution of 180Hg fission products obtained from dynamical evolution is presented in Fig. 7, with comparison to existing experimental data.Detailed numerical values used to generate these figures are included as supplementary material, facilitating the reproduction of theoretical calculations and potential applications.
