This series consists of printed copies of the By-laws of the Wallsend Mining District Hospital. Two editions are held, in the form of printed booklets. The first contains the text of the "Rules and Regulations" (the title then current for the By-laws) confirmed at the Subscribers' Meeting held the 20th February, 1924, along with a text of the Public Hospitals Act, 1898; the second, entitled "By-Laws, Standing Orders and Regulations," is dated on its cover "September, 1929," and gives the amended text of the By-laws as confirmed at the Subscribers' Meeting of the 20th February, 1929, along with an undated text of the Standing Orders.
