Search for Sexual and Gender Minorities AND Cancer

The notes field contains the Ovid MEDLINE search for sexual and gender minorities, cancer, and knowledge syntheses. The file in this dataset contains the full MEDLINE (Ovid), Embase (Ovid), CINAHL (Ebsco), Cochrane Library, Web of Science Core Collection, Global Health Medicus, and LGBT+ Life (Ebsco) searches. Searches were conducted between December 4, 2024 - December 9, 2024. 2024-12-09.

A second search on emerging evidence on the topic of sexual and gender minorities and cancer was conducted on July 15, 2025 in all the databases listed above, except for Global Health Medicus due to inoperable export issues. The third concept of different review types were removed from the searches, and a date limiter of July 2022-present was applied, corresponding to the time frame after the latest review found in the first search (published 2022).
