Expression of immature markers and glial as well as neuronal markers in HNPC in monoculture and in co-culture with auditory brainstem slices.

Numbers of HNPC expressing the respective markers above were estimated in monocultures and in cultures with an auditory BS slice, at 2 and 4 weeks after plating. The relative proportion of HNPC expressing the respective marker is expressed as mean±SD. Statistical difference between monoculture and co-culture as well as between time-points within the same groups was estimated using the Mann-Whitney nonparametric test. Statistical differences were only found between experimental groups,*p
