Rhizosphere Metagenome of Quercus Heterobalanus in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau

Bacteria were the main component of the microbial community, the same dominant phyla were present at different slope heights, and Candidatus_Rokubacteria was the endemic dominant taxon. Microbial community varied with slope heights, but microbial communities with higher relative abundance were more commonly observed in the middle distribution section. Mutualism was the primary mode of interaction among microorganisms. Stochastic processes dominate the construction of microbial community. Major functions of the microbial community, revealed by KEGG analysis, were amino acid metabolism, carbohydrate metabolism, and energy metabolism. Genes involved in carbon and nitrogen cycling were also identified.
