As of April 2022, China was the country with the largest installed offshore wind power capacity at roughly 23.9 gigawatts. However, the United Kingdom had the largest pipeline worldwide, with an offshore prospective capacity of approximately 78.5 gigawatts. As of that date, the UK had a total of 12.5 gigawatts of offshore wind installed.
