Health-Monitoring And Infection-Control Against Covid-19 And Future Pandemics Using Emerging Technologies
收藏资源简介:
This thesis presents innovative, low-cost, and intelligent solutions across four domains—digital contact tracing, indoor localization, air quality monitoring, and non-contact vital signs monitoring—motivated by challenges exposed during the COVID-19 pandemic. It introduces a hybrid BLE-RFID system with predictive machine learning for contact tracing, high-accuracy indoor localization using fingerprinting, real-time air monitoring of CO, CO₂, and VOCs, and a contactless rPPG system from facial videos for monitoring heart rate and SpO₂. Each system is validated with real-world data, achieving high accuracy and meeting clinical standards. Collectively, these contributions support scalable, technology-driven interventions for infection control and proactive healthcare.
