QLD DNRM Licence Locations Linked to Cadastre Plan - v1 - 20140307

## **Abstract** \n\nThis dataset was supplied to the Bioregional Assessment Programme by Queensland Department of Natural Resources and Mines and is presented here as originally supplied. Metadata was not provided and has been compiled by the Bioregional Assessment Programme based on the known details at the time of acquisition.\n\n\n\nQLD DNRM had previously provided an extract from their licensing system of surface water licences across QLD. In the extract, most licences did not have a location (lat/long). QLD DNRM was also unable to provide management areas that these licences could be linked to in absence of a location. This dataset is a replacement.\n\nQLD DNRM has been able to link the licence to the centroid of the property from cadastre maps. Although this is not 100% accurate, it now allows future users of the surface water licences to be able to plot locations within a catchment.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThis dataset was supplied to the Bioregional Assessment Programme by Queensland Department of Natural Resources and Mines and is presented here as originally supplied.QLD DNRM have linked all known licences (surface water and groundwater) to the centroid of the lot from the cadastre plans. \n\nThis data should only be used where there is not a known location for the offtake (surface water) or the bore (groundwater).\n\n\n\nLots can be very large so the accuracy of the data varies depending on the property size.
