A Curation-Needs Assessment and Inventory of Select U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Southeast Region Archaeological Collections

As part of the continuing archaeological assessment project for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Southeast Region, curation condition for archaeological materials and associated documentation recovered from U.S. Fish and Wildlife properties were assessed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District. Six facilities in three states--Arkansas, Georgia, and South Carolina--contained 579 cubic feet of archaeological materials and 19.9 linear feet of associated documentation. All collections require at least partial rehabilitation to comply with federal curation regulations and guidelines.
