Water Wall Protection System Design To Mitigate Gasoline Vapor Leak Hazards
收藏资源简介:
PT XYZ, as the company responsible for distributing fuel oil (BBM) across the country, is highly committed to ensuring that the public can receive and use BBM as an energy source. A security system is needed to anticipate and handle uncontrolled gasoline fuel releases, thereby reducing the risk of fire hazards. This research uses the House of Risk (HOR), Quality Function Deployment (QFD), and House of Quality (HOQ) approaches to identify and mitigate the hazards of BBM vapor release. HOR aims to identify the hazards caused by gasoline vapor. HOR data is obtained from qualitative interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with PT XYZ workers who are experts in Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE). The HOR method resulted in preventive measures in the form of a Water Wall Protection System, followed by the QFD method which focuses on quality in the design, development, and implementation of the product to achieve maximum results according to the company's needs. The design of this Water Wall Protection System is expected to perform in handling gasoline vapor leaks by repelling and capturing them to the ground surface, thereby minimizing the risk of fire or explosion hazards.
