NRS-21281 | Legal contracts [Department of Main Roads]

These records are Department of Main Roads contracts that have been maintained by the Legal Services Branch and its predecessors since 1944. The contracts for the period 1944-54 do not appear to have survived.The series includes both contracts for major construction projects such as the Sydney Harbour Tunnel and minor works and supply matters. The contracts include the deed of contract, usually a blue printed form, which defined what constituted the contract and which was signed by both parties.
