Analysis of the gene signature of OX40+ Tregs, in comparison to OX40- Tregs and Tconvs, freshly isolated from liver cirrhosis and tumor of chronic HCV patients. Results provide insights into the metabolic mechanisms of Treg proliferation in premalignant/malignant contexts. Total RNA extracted from OX40+ or OX40- Tregs or Tconvs, obtained from peripheral blood or from fragments of cirrhotic and tumor (hepatocellular carcinoma) liver tissue. Samples from 5 chronic HCV patients (4M+1F, aged 53-80 years) were pooled.
