"ANGRY YOUTH" AND THE PHILOSOPHY OF EXISTENTIALISM: SIMILARITIES AND DIFFERENCES

This article explores the conceptual and philosophical parallels and distinctions between the “Angry Youth” movement and the existentialist philosophy that emerged in twentieth-century Europe. Both phenomena express rebellion against social conformity, alienation, and moral hypocrisy. However, while existentialism is rooted in individual moral choice and authenticity, the “Angry Youth” movement channels collective frustration and cultural defiance. Through a comparative analytical approach, this paper identifies convergences in their criticism of modern society and differences in their ideological depth and objectives.
