Yosemite National Park - Non Building Structures - Open Data

This polygon dataset shows the structures in Yosemite National Park that do not meet the definition of building. A building is permanent or semi-permanent structure with walls that go from floor to ceiling, a roof, a floor, and doors. Some structures of interest may be missing sides, have partial roofs, or not otherwise entirely enclosed. Examples of non-building structures in the park include covered picnic areas, play structures in playgrounds, storage containers, swimming pools, tennis courts, bus shelters, mail shelters, vending machine shelters, exhibit shelters, water towers, and trailer pads. The data uses Core Data Standard from 08/10/2016. Five fields from the Building Data Standard from 12/15/2017 are used: Building Name (modified to "YOSE Structure Name"), Building Alternate Name ("YOSE Structure Alt Name"), Facility Use, Park Building ID, and Building Status (modified to YOSE Structure Status). Several Yosemite specific fields contain additional information about when the structure was constructed, whether it is historic, and the area of the park the structure resides in.
