Seamlessly onboard your conversion events to The Trade Desk platform for targeting and measurement with flexible solutions for conversion events from The Trade Desk. You can then organize the event data at the product level, enabling granular audience segmentation and measurement. With a single integration, you can power your first-party enterprise marketing, retail media managed service, and self-serve data monetization businesses. For example, the retailer can target shoppers who recently purchased or viewed a specific product with relevant creative messaging for their own enterprise or managed-service campaigns, and offer those audience segments to self-serve advertisers for targeting. In the retail use case, the conversion data is paired with product catalog data and can be used in two ways: - As first-party data, for the retailer to promote their own store or products, or to power the retailer’s managed-services business. - As third-party data, to monetize the data by allowing other advertisers to use this data for targeting or measurement. You can send conversion events in the form of cookies, device IDs, CTV IDs, Ramp IDs, Unified ID 2.0s (UID2s), and European Unified IDs (EUIDs). UID2 is an industry-wide approach to internet identity that preserves the value of relevant advertising, in a privacy-conscious manner. In practice, UID2 is an open-source solution that publishers, advertisers, and media buyers implement to encrypt and hash a consumer’s email address as an alternative to third-party cookies. EUID was created to be conscious of consumer privacy and the regulatory requirements of the region. To monetize these assets as a third-party data provider on The Trade Desk platform, please reach out to your contact at The Trade Desk so you can sign the appropriate paperwork. **Getting Started** After you request the TTD Connector, a Technical Account Manager (TAM) works with you to understand your use case and helps get your account on The Trade Desk platform configured so that it can receive your conversion events. The solution is fulfilled via Snowflake Marketplace so that you can configure your integration and start using it. **Expected Workflow** 1. Request access to the integration through this Snowflake Marketplace listing.<br/>Include the following information:<br/>- A summary of your use case<br/>- The name of the third-party data or measurement provider you are working with<br/>- Whether you want to use UID2 as part of your integration 2. Your TAM sends you the information you need to get started. **Native App** This is our newest offering, very simple to use, and is our preferred solution. It handles use cases for: - Advertisers operating directly against their own account with The Trade Desk. - Third-party providers. - Advertisers working with a third-party provider. To get started with the Native App when you have access, follow these steps: 1. Locate and install the Native App from the private marketplace in your Snowflake account. 2. Permission the app appropriately with the necessary access rights. 3. Keep track of status and volumes, including historical use with conversion results table shared back with you. 4. Pair the app interactively with a valid account registration at The Trade Desk. 5. Push your conversions data to The Trade Desk DSP. **Data Required** To send conversion events to The Trade Desk DSP, you copy conversion events to a table that the solution monitors and processes using a task. The data required is: - Advertising IDs (you can send multiple IDs and ID types) - Identifiers supported by The Trade Desk, such as Merchant ID and Tracking Tag ID. - EventName values such as purchase, addtocart, and pageview. - Location (country, region, metro, city). - Line item details, including product ID, quantity, and price.
