A dataset on scientific articles dealing with plant cover in rubber (Hevea Brasiliensis) cropping systems

This dataset present the compilation of 72 scientific articles dealing with the use of covers in rubber tree plantations. These articles were selected following a review of litterature performed with the Web of Science, CAB abstract, Google Scholar, and some personnal communications of references. Research equations were specific to each searching engine (indicated in the 2nd column of the dataset). We then refined the search by manually selecting the article actually dealing with covers in rubber tree plantations on the base of their title. The abstracts were then read and the scientific themes covered along with the geographic area of the study were filled out in the dataset. For the articles dealing with the immature phase of rubber plantation (0-8 ans), various data describing the study were collected (e‧g type of soil, species of the covers, rubber clone used, services and disservices explored, list of the data acquired). This dataset could be usefull for other researchers or students interested in studing the impacts or uses of covers in tropical plantations.
