HRM in the digital economy

The survey study was conducted in the first half of 2023. The purposive sampling method was used. In order to identify the attitudes and behavioural characteristics of employees in the digital age, one of the main criterion of sampling was extensive use of IT technology in the professional field; hence participants were professionally active students of courses related to the use of ICT at the University of Economics in Katowice and the Silesian University (e.g., Computer Science, Digital Economy, etc.) and their family members representing various generation employees whose work involved the extensive use of digital technologies.
